Melissa Estrada, a 12th-grader at Vista High in California, won the Division 2 girls senior 3-mile race in 18:40.1 at the 48th Dana Hills Nike Invitational at Dana Hills High in Dana Point. Estrada, who was fifth in the Division 2 junior race last year, improved 15 seconds on the Dana Hills layout to secure the victory.
